1. Simplify Strike Price and Lot Size Adjustments
The Mobile Scalper Mode UI could be improved to make trading faster and more user-friendly.
Currently, changing a strike price requires multiple steps:
-
Navigate to the Preferences icon.
-
Select the Call or Put strike you want to modify.
-
Wait and double-check whether the correct strike has been selected.
-
Tap the Select/Confirm button to apply the change and close the bottom sheet.
Even tapping outside the bottom sheet or on the chart does not close it. The change is applied only after tapping the confirmation button.
The same process has to be repeated when changing the lot size, making the overall trading experience unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming.
My Suggestion:
-
Add simple + / − controls directly on the Index Chart to increase or decrease the Call and Put strike prices.
-
Add + / − controls directly on the Premium Chart to increase or decrease the lot size.
-
Apply changes instantly without navigating through the Preferences menu or opening a bottom sheet.
This would significantly reduce unnecessary steps and make strike and lot size adjustments much quicker.
2. Introduce Drag-and-Drop TP and SL on Charts
It would be great to have the ability to set and modify Take Profit (TP) and Stop Loss (SL) directly on the chart using drag-and-drop functionality.
Many competing trading platforms already offer similar functionality. Introducing this feature in Dhan would make the platform much more competitive.
Traders should be able to visually drag the TP and SL levels on the chart and adjust them instantly, rather than navigating through multiple menus.
Expected Benefits
-
Faster trade execution and position adjustments.
-
Fewer unnecessary clicks and navigation steps.
-
Better usability on mobile devices.
-
Improved scalping experience.
-
Seamless and more efficient trading workflow.
Overall Suggestion: Dhan already has a good trading experience, but simplifying strike and lot size adjustments and introducing chart-based drag-and-drop TP/SL controls would make Mobile Scalper Mode significantly better, especially for active intraday and scalping traders.
