Scenario:
- Primary account is functional on Dhan app
- 2nd account is added from Switch Accounts option
- Logged into secondary account, opened few charts and made few changes in indicators, shortcuts, visuals, etc. {wrt charting only}
- Switched back to primary account
- Configured visuals (of primary account) are now replaced by the config of secondary account.
I am unable to figure out how to rollback these TradingView settings.
Hi @khulsat, as replicated on our end, this should not happen as these are two separate layouts. Can you share more details at help@dhan.co to investigate this further.
Yes, I can. But before that, I would need to restore / rollback my old layout.
Don’t know how to do that.
Hi @khulsat for this, you can use the load layout feature from the top right > small arrow down option.
That is limited to chart indicator layout.
I am talking here about timeframe favourites, drawing tool favourites.. GONE!
It’s going to be a hectic rework I guess.
@thisisbanerjee , supp?!?
Though you deleted the post, I tried clearing cache, reinstall… But no luck.
My chart layout is same but the shortcuts/favourites are all vanished.
I am certain that it’s a bug and Dhan is going to ignore it. (Kundali problem
)
Tried the same with OT app too.
Another bug identified in a scalper mode -
Scalper Symbol and chart mismatched.
Hi @thisisbanerjee @khulsat When a chart is loading, the TV library requires a default chart which it interprets as NIFTY50 as base chart until the final one is there with all indicators and studies. This is a known and reported to TV from a very long time, unfortunately this is part of its canvas base structure.
+1
True… There are couple of things which create problem with Dhan; surprisingly works well with other brokers.
Sadly, it is more convenient to throw reasons than to take issues to the closure.
I have actively used Zerodha, AngelOne & Upstox. So far, Dhan UX is more disappointing amongst above. (Verdict may vary person to person, but my thoughts are honest.)
Yeah, I was anticipating to receive a response from RD/PJ but got nothing so far. The post got unfairly unlisted instead.
True. I am exploring other options desparately.
Though I am new to the trading segment, I am pretty serious about it; and hence my posts/comments/feedback are not vague.
Majority of the times responses from help & feedback team are generic and repetitive. Few of the issues were addressed (upon follow ups) here at community space only.
An organisation must carry out self evaluation periodically to be able to sustain in the long run rather than relying on running mass commercials is what I feel.
