Hello traders and investors,
The revamped Tax Report is now available on Dhan! This version comprises 5 sheets: Equity, F&O, Currency, Commodities, and Tradewise Report (AGTS).

While we are continuously enhancing the report to provide more comprehensive data for easier tax filing, we have launched the first version. However, please note that the following aspects have not been incorporated into this version and will be addressed in subsequent releases:

a. Corporate Actions such as Bonus or Split shares are not accounted for. Hence, if you sell Bonus or Split shares, they will appear in Open Sell.
b. IPO shares, if sold, will be displayed in Open Sell section.
c. Shares transferred to Dhan and subsequently sold are listed in Open Sell section
d. Free holdings denote shares purchased but not sold.
e. Shares acquired via Physical Delivery are not shown in the Equity Tax Report. If sold, they will appear in Open Sell.
f. Some users may encounter expired contracts still shown as open for certain contracts on SENSEX. If you experience this issue, please reach out to us for resolution.

While we have taken every measure to address all aspects, if you encounter any discrepancies, please reach out to us via Customer Service, and we will gladly assist you!

any tab for dividend ?

@krishag For this release, we have not added the Dividend tab/sheet. Since this requires a bit more work, will get this added in the next release.

Is there a summary view of P&L for tax purposes in one view?
Equity (LT,ST,IDAY)
Derivatives
Commodity

Finally, Net P&L after brokerage and taxes?

@codetech The Tax Report has all the required details. The charges are also mentioned for each scrip as per taxable headers

DP Charges are missing in the AGTS report. If I am not wrong, even those charges can be deducted from profits.

Please advise. Thanks.

One basic ask to include buy date and sell date and it would make it a lot easier to summarize, easy to maintain and negate the need to pull multiple statements Tax PNL, PNL etc.

Hi @ekveer, please refer to the ledger analysis tab in ledger report to view the demat-related charges, including the Dp charges.

I am aware that I can get it from ledger report however it would be ideal if all charges whether trading related or demat related are provided at one place.

I dont think its technically impossible. Imagine the TIME every customer spends in getting those from ledger and adding the same to AGTS report.

Hope this gets added to the report in the near future.
