India continues to hold its position as the fastest-growing major economy globally. According to S&P, it is poised to become the world’s third-largest economy by 2030, surpassing Japan and Germany.
An interesting highlight from the report is the notable increase in the Labour Force Participation Rate, rising from 49.8% in 2017-18 to 57.9% in 2022-23. This growth is attributed to a surge in female labor force participation.
