There is no option to invest in mutual funds for HUF

Hi, Recently open HUF account for families , Shocked to see no option for investing in mutual funds, its basics to provide options for mutual funds to all, why this feature is still not provided by Dhan

At this moment, mutual funds are available for individual account holders only. Further, we will evaluate this in future.

Please enable mutual funds for HUF as well as allow investing through Dhan Web (website)

Kindly enable Mutual Funds for HUF account in demat format and available for pledging.

Request you not to delay…if any physical document required please do let us know.

Mutual Funds should be available for all account type.

We’re almost there! Mutual Fund support for HUF is under active testing.
We’re going through every piece - lumpsum, SIPs (daily to monthly), auto-debits, pledging too- to make sure it’s all seamless.

Lots of moving parts here, and we want it all to just work without friction when it goes live. Not too far now

How about using same mobile and email address for HUF account opening as individual account? When can we expect that? I am eagerly waiting for this feature!

Yes, these too.

Same mobile, same email, same demat MFs as well as MF transactions available on desktop (Dhan web). These things are the bare minimum.

Totally hear you, we’ve had many requests to use the same mobile & email for both Individual and HUF accounts. It’s a priority for us too. We’re aligning a few legacy systems to support this cleanly (no edge-case breaks), and we’ll be enabling it very soon. We appreciate your interest, will update here once it’s LIVE!

Totally understand the wait.

We’ve completed most of the heavy lifting for Mutual Fund support in HUF accounts (lumpsum, SIPs, pledging, etc.) and are in the last leg of testing with exchanges and RTAs. Since this involves multiple systems, we want to make sure there are no edge-case breaks before rolling it out.

The good news: we’re close to the finish line :rocket:. You’ll see updates here the moment we go LIVE.

Most of the build is completed. At this stage, it’s just flow checks with BSE STAR MF and the RTAs. Once those pass, the rollout should follow shortly - likely in the next month
