I want to share some other related facts about this infographic that I find interesting.
Ultratech = Promoter Group, Birla.

Shree Cement = Promoter Group, Bangur.
Dlamia Bharat Ltd = Promoter Group, Dalmia.
JK Cements = Promoter Group, Singhania.

I don’t own any cement companies in my portfolio, but I’m not certain if it’s included in the ELSS I have (even though most of that is focused on banking).
A few years back, I was on a trip and met a man who worked for JK Cements. I learned that cement companies really make money only if they can transport their products within a certain distance, around 125 kilometers or so, from their manufacturing plants. Not sure how rest of the logistics works across the country for transporting cement. If anyone knows more about the cement business, feel free to share your thoughts on this or any trivia.
