Trade Plan option in tv.dhan.co

I checked the Trade Plan option on tv.dhan.co and this feature is very good and useful. I have small suggestion on this, In the fund allocation section, there is an option to choose amount wise or percentage wise, but there is no such option to set stop loss and target in that way. It would have been better if there is a option to set SL and Target in point wise instead of price. eg: 10 point SL, 30 point TARGET. and there is no Market price option.

Entry : Market Price eg 100.00
SL : Market Price +/- SL point 100 +/- 10
Target : Market Price +/- TARGET point 100 +/- 30

@rajeevuv where is this ?

It is a beta feature available only for a few accounts as of now. To see if you have access to it open Dhan TV chart. At the top middle part, to the right of Scalper there will be a small downward arrow. Click on that and you can see the Trade Plan option if it is available.

@RajeshK Trade Plan is an option that let’s you set custom allocation % per trade, set the risk % and reward % and execute in seconds without calculation or anything.

@PravinJ Only 1 feedback, allocation shows upto 20%. IMO, it would have been better if it had options of 33% too.

Slicing my account into 3 trades - 3 trades makes 33% because that’s the optimal Kelly Fraction for the best risk-reward in my case.

Thanks for supporting MTF in it btw.

Hi @thisisbanerjee, you can manually set your desired funds allocation % in the trade plan.

@Dhan Cool tool once again. The dropdown was confusing, but the direct input support is cool. With Risk and Reward, does it take the SL/Profit automatically and if it’s an OCO?

Ahh @Mohseen_Usmani Thank you :smile:

@PravinJ I think you should also add User customizable market protection for your choice of order legs.

Also pls convey my gratitude to @Dhan team for doing a great job.

AngelOne’s mandatory MPP causes huge slippages in low-liquidity stocks.
MPP should always be users’ choice in stocks specifically.
