Key Details of the New 23/5 Schedule

  • Launch Date: Sunday, December 6, 2026.
  • Participating Exchanges: Nasdaq, NYSE Arca, 24X National Exchange, and Cboe EDGX.
  • New Overnight Session: Runs from 9:00 PM to 4:00 AM ET (Sunday evening through Friday evening).
  • Daily Maintenance Break: A mandatory 1-hour pause from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM ET (Monday–Thursday).
  • Core Trading Session: The standard 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM ET session remains unchanged and continues to set official market prices.
  • Other Sessions: Pre-market (4:00 AM–9:30 AM ET) and after-hours (4:00 PM–8:00 PM ET) remain in place.
