From a macroeconomic perspective, I feel this is one of the best budgets in a long time.

It meaningfully opens up India to global investment beyond just equities, which is a big structural positive.

This should push domestic businesses to wake up and prepare for the increased competition ahead, ultimately making the economy more efficient and globally competitive.

not everyone will see it that way. actually no one wants to see things in a long term perspective. most population needs direct and immediate benefits which is not the case in this budget so majority will see this as a not so good budget. even many traders will be stuck at the STT increased point. middle class who have been paying taxes for their life are not getting any benefits and rich are moving to dubai. in my opinion we’re not really in a good shape as a nation. common man are suffering as usual regardless of which party is in power. so most will not see this as a good budget.

Well true but I believe there should be a balance for what is provided on he infra level to a direct effect for the common man. Most of the budgets are skewed which has actually caused the discomfort which in my opinion needs to be worked on properly.
