I recently bought unlisted stock of Polyamatech and transferred it into my Dhan BOID. Can anyone tell me if I will be able to see this unlisted stock in the portfolio section on the Dhan frontend?

We are making few updates to ensure that you can view same on Dhan as well in coming times. It’s on our list of things to do.

@pankajsingh Unlisted stocks are closely traded between counter parties and are generally over the counter deals.

There are a few different ways to purchase unlisted shares. Some full-service brokers, such as Motilal Oswal, offer unlisted shares in various securities if you are buying in large quantities with a ticket size of more than 1 lakh.
There are also some startups, such as precize.in, altiusinvestech.com, and unlistedguru.com, that offer unlisted shares below a ticket size of 1 lakh, or even below 50,000 for some shares.
You can buy and sell the unlisted shares before the IPO anytime. But once it goes public, there is a 6-month lock-in period for pre-IPO shares.
