I created a TradingView webhook with 7-day validity. TradingView shows alerts delivered at 13:45 IST on 15 Oct 2026 (a BUY for NIFTY 22700 CE, expiry 19 Oct, 1 lot, market order), but no order appears in my order book and my webhook page shows nothing. Can you tell me whether the webhook is active, whether my account needs API access or a static IP enabled for webhook orders, and what happened to these requests?
Hi @Radha_N ,
TradingView showing “alert delivered” does not confirm that the order was placed. Ensure your Dhan API access is active (API credentials are configured correctly) and your server’s static IP is mapped in your Dhan account. Then, check the logs to identify why the order was not placed.
Placing orders through TradingView webhooks does not require Dhan API access or static IP whitelisting. You simply need to create a webhook URL, generate the order-specific JSON either through the UI or programmatically using Pine Script, and configure your TradingView alerts with that JSON message and webhook URL to send orders to Dhan.
If you can share your TradingView alert log, we can investigate what may have prevented the order from reaching Dhan.
