I understand that the validity of forever orders is 1 year. Lets say X
If I edit the forever order lets start after 6 months. Will the forever order be extended for another 1 year from that moment the order is executed (x plus 6 months) ? Or is it still the same X?
Hi @NoobTrader Nikhil, it stays for original validity period is what my guess is, but I will still check and confirm. We were reviewing this few months back, let me see if we deployed any changes.

Atleast from my point of view a edit on a forever order should be almost treated as a new forever sell order and extend the validity.
Others could have a different perspective.

The current implemented logic here is that the validity date is set while creating the forever order and not on any subsequent updates/edits made to the same order.
This essentially means that the validity of order is not extended on modifying forever order.
