I’d love to hear your thoughts on whether volume analysis actually works in our capital market.
Years ago, I tried it, but honestly, I found it pretty pointless.
Just yesterday, the Nifty futures made a comeback from a low point, and there was a significant increase in trading volume at that time. It was the highest volume of the day. If you pay attention to volume trends, you probably noticed it was a strong signal to consider buying.
However, shortly after that, it took much less volume for the price to drop again to new lows, after this 300-point recovery on these high volume candles.
These are just my thoughts on it. I haven’t really looked into daily candle analysis yet.
How do you go about volume analysis? I’d love to hear from anyone else who’s using it.
On another note, I think adding it as a feature on the charting platform wouldn’t be too complicated for the development team.
