Just wanted to ask, how do you use the noon hours for trading?
Morning is always busy… some days we make profit, some days loss. By noon, everyone has their own style.
For me, sometimes I try to find fresh chances, and mostly I just look at how to cover up the morning mistakes.
So made one small poll:
What do you usually do in noon trading session?
Looking for new trades / fresh opportunities.
Trying to recover morning losses.

Please vote and also share in comments how you normally handle the noon session. Do you reset your mind and start fresh, or you focus on making back the losses?
Market start to close just the same approach. For Algo trades, just Monitoring whether any exceptions happen. For discretionary option selling (only index options) I look for opportunities throughout the live session.
Thanks for the response! I’ve noticed myself chasing trades just to cover morning mistakes, so that’s why I started this thread. For the next couple of months, I want to focus mainly on the noon session. It feels less hectic and gives a clearer view of the market.
What I’ve noticed is that in the morning session, even when there’s a good trend setting up, it often gets diverted or distorted by derivative players pushing prices around. This makes it hard to hold onto clear directional moves early in the day.
I noticed, after 2 pm in the noon, is when the market’s directional moves become clearer and more consistent because there’s less interference from speculative derivative trading and the direction gets backed by FII volume in the cash Market.
