For those involved in short-term speculation, like day trading, what gives you the most satisfaction at the end of the day?
Is it simply ending the day in profit?
Or is it the feeling of having been right — proving to yourself (and maybe others watching) that your analysis played out exactly as you expected?
Some traders say the real reward isn’t just the money, but the validation that comes from correctly predicting the market.
So what’s more satisfying for you personally — a good result, or being proven right?
Curious to hear how others see it.
So what matters more to you?
- Good Results over Public Validation.
- Public Validation over Good Results.
In the context of day trading and speculation:
When you spot a good trade, is your first instinct to post about it for attention — or to take the trade and focus on making a profit?

i voted for good results over public validation but now that you ask this question i think its sort of 50 50, i dont share my results to anyone but in my mind its this satisfaction that see my analysis worked and things happened the way I expected them to happen.
