Where to park money for short term

Dear Team,

Some time trader sitting on huge cash balances where to invest that money for some return

don’t suggest liquid ETF because there is problem of price tick at the time of selling you would not be able to sale on desire price.

Hi @peeruverma09,

I used to park my money in savings account (money that i would definitely need in 30-45 days) and liquid fund (money that i might need in 90-120 days).

I would still suggest (even though you have asked not to) you could keep some amount in liquid ETF. But i suggest you to place limit order(s) whether it’s during buying or selling liquid ETFs. Liquid ETFs price may vary by 1 paisa and utmost 2 paisa during volatile times (talking about liquidcase ETF as that’s the only liquid ETF whose price varies on day by day basis). For other ETFs since prices are fixed no need to worry much of price variation. Just place limit order with 1000 or 100 as price.
