Why are you automatically unpledging my securities without my consent?

It has happened many times and I have to repledge them again thereby paying unnecessary pledging and unpledging charges. Don’t do it anymore

Hi @explrorer Broking platforms can’t pledge or unpledge securities on their own.

Securities bought on MTF will only get unpledged after 5 days if one does not authorise the same. For account specific query, request you to connect with our Customer Care on help@dhan.co

It’s the gsecs that are getting automatically unpledged. Earlier I thought that may be there is a mistake on my side. But this has happened so many times that I am pretty sure that it is being done from your side

Next time it happens, I will immediately point it out with proofs

Hi @explrorer,

We see that “GOI LOAN” scrip was purchased by using collateral amount, which caused your ledger to show a negative balance. When the ledger becomes negative, your shares are transferred to the CUSPA account for pledge. Once funds are added fully or partly, the shares are unpledged and transferred back to your normal holdings accordingly, based on the available funds in your account. Read more here.

@Siyanka What just happened? I received following sms from cdsl:

CDSL: Debit in a/c *09263502 for 22-GS 33002 7.25 2063 on 08JAN

I have sold nothing

And this security has been unpledged too and there is a lock sign showing on it
