Allow Custom Pine Script Indicator Support on Dhan Charts

Dear Dhan Team,

I would like to request a feature that could significantly enhance Dhan’s charting platform and differentiate it from all other Indian brokers.

Request: Allow users to add one or two custom Pine Script indicators directly to Dhan charts.

Many active traders develop their own indicators and trading tools using Pine Script on TradingView. While Dhan already offers excellent charting and trading integration, the ability to import and run a limited number of custom Pine Scripts would be a game-changing addition.

Why this matters:

  • Traders can use their proprietary indicators without switching between platforms.
  • It would improve workflow and execution speed by keeping analysis and trading in one place.
  • Advanced traders would be more likely to make Dhan their primary trading platform.
  • Dhan could become the first Indian broker to offer native Pine Script support within its charting interface.
  • This would create a unique competitive advantage over other broker platforms that rely solely on built-in indicators.

Suggested implementation:

  • Allow users to upload or paste up to 1–2 custom Pine Script indicators per chart.
  • Support indicator scripts initially, with strategy scripts considered in future updates.
  • Apply reasonable execution and resource limits to ensure platform stability.

This feature would bridge the gap between TradingView’s flexibility and Dhan’s excellent execution capabilities, creating a truly integrated trading experience.

Thank you for considering this request. I believe many serious traders and developers in the Dhan community would greatly benefit from such functionality.

Great suggestion! Adding custom Pine Script support directly onto Dhan charts would be very useful for retail traders.

Very Great suggestion :clap: . If Dhan add pine script feature in their chart trading, it will be great feature and it solve big problem of watching trading view & Dhan chart simultaneously while taking trade. If it happen then Dhan broker will become one of the best broker in Indian market. Dhan app have great features. But I personally face difficulty when trade in Dhan due lack of custom pine script indicator feature. Due to this i don’t trade in Dhan web. I pay for Trading View subscription for doing trades. So my humble request to Dhan team to add Pine script editor to use custom indicators in Dhan trading view chart.

This would be a huge step forward for advanced traders. Many of us already build custom Pine Script indicators, but we have to keep TradingView open alongside Dhan just to use them.

A phased rollout could make this practical:

  • Start with read-only Pine Script indicators (no strategy execution).

  • Limit users to 1–2 custom indicators per chart with execution limits for stability.

  • Support the most commonly used Pine Script functions first and expand compatibility over time.

In the future, it would be even more powerful if custom Pine indicators could integrate with ScanX, allowing traders to scan stocks based on their own indicator conditions, and with Trader’s Diary to automatically capture the indicator values present at the time of entry and exit. That would create a complete workflow—from scanning, to execution, to post-trade analysis—all within Dhan.
