Sorry to inform you and all members of Dhan Community to not rely on Customer Support Team for applying for Offer for Sale or IPO’s.
I had sufficient balance in my account and had been following up with the Customer Team through email, over the phone, this platform and even through Twitter Messages for applying to OFS of Patanjali Foods Limited.
The Customer Support Team never took my atleast 8 - 10 Phone which always remained busy.
I got confirmation over email, in this Community platform as also in personal Twitter message replies that my application has been submitted to the concerned Team and will be updated and I will get the confirmation after the day ends.
However, nothing sort of has happened and today morning I see that my balance is lying unused in the account which I am compelled to withdraw from my available funds.
Luckily, I also applied at 2.45pm over Zerodha’s Console platform as I was not sure whether my application would go through Dhan. I got immediate application No. submitted confirmation from them over my email id.
I recently switched over to Dhan and just thinking to transfer all my funds and securities from Zerodha, but today’s worst experience from Dhan’s Customer Service has prompted me to rethink my decision and have both the brokers till Dhan stabilizes in giving non-manual intervention services.
I request @PravinJ Sir and all concerned at @Dhan to quicken you good work of fast development of software and not take involve your Back Office for applying to OFS and IPOs just to get business by hook or by crook. What I find is that Dhan is chewing more than it could bite by canvassing more business through Refer and Earn program rather than concentrating on existing customers needs which just tarnishes the image of Dhan.
Hope you understand my point and implement, in the meanwhile I would suggest other Community members not to rely on Dhan’s Back Office for applying to OFS or IPOs.
From my part I will never call your Back Office henceforth except for any technical problem I face in Dhan software.
