I was using GROWW . I was getting divided on time but since I joined dhan my dividend is not credited since 2024 January. If I don’t get dividend regarding one company it can be issue with company but I did not recieve 7 companies dividend. I never checked account statement for dividend I trusted dhan but now I checked for current quarter dividend. Nothing credit and when checked last one year they missed 7 dividend amount of 12762.
I tried to call you 3 times but everytime call failed with ivr
Worst part customer support asking to contact company. I did not recieve since I joined dhan. This issue was not in zerodha or groww. So I have to contact 7 companies for rta. This is impossible for me.
Hi
Are the shares transferred successfully to Dhan demat?
Can you see those shares in portfolio section of Dhan app?
If yes then let me know the names of companies you are expecting dividend from, date of shares transfer to Dhan.
So it is headache for me. I had no issues in other broker and It was not my job to contact any company. Now I have to contact to 6 companies rta. So much time wasting.
Better I move to other broker.
Hi,
Dividends are received directly in bank account. Could you check and confirm?
Yes since joined dhan no dividend in bank account. If it was about one company I can say it is company related issue. If 6 companies are not transferring it means something is wrong with dhan document during account creation or share transffer time.
Hi @Mitthi
Dividends are directly credited to your primary bank account by the RTA, and we, as a broker have no role in this process.
Please check your primary bank account for the dividend from the mentioned company. If you haven’t received it, kindly contact the company’s RTA. You can find their details on the NSE website under the ‘Company Directory’ tab and on the BSE website under the ‘Corp Information’ tab.
I have only one account since I joined dhan. Ok you guys are no link with dividend. But it is your profession why all companies are not transferring dividend. 6 companies have same issue. It is related to dhan account. My issue is you guys created account and may something is missing or wrong information in dhan so I am not getting dividend. No issue I escalate this with sebi. May be they will check whose fault this is? Company or broker??
Can you tell me steps how to report or get dividend from rta. As mentioned rta detail found in nse or bse. I checked some companies on nse no details about rta.
Even I filed dividend in itr also. Govt showing dividend in my account but did not recieve any amount
Check DM.
Regarding RTA information, you might have received dividend intimation email from RTA of the company. Check your mailbox.
No did not recieve any email regarding dividend. This is very strange . Even did not get any email since one year. Atleast I should get email regarding dividend notification
Check your CMR copy from Dhan
What’s the mail id there and bank details.
Download latest CMR copy from Dhan app
Hi @Mitthi In such scenario, you have to connect with the RTA. If the RTA does not respond, please send a email to the company secretary / investor relations department of the respective company.
Hi @Mitthi
I’m compiling the RTA details of your holdings, as given in your screenshot. Please get in touch with them via email, stating your DP and Bank A/C and the dividend details that you wish to inquire about.

I have sent a sample mail to your DM for your reference to write a mail similar to that.

What to do now?
They saying to mail on same I was initially sending.
As an investor, I often worry about dealing with such a situation that involves a financial institution. It feels like I’m chasing my tail, going in circles without any real solutions. Everyone that signs you into it seems to understand that fixing issues in these cases can be tough, and because of that, people tend to avoid taking responsibility.
I recieved response from lic and they mentioned this
As per Corporation’s records, the Interim Dividend for the FY 2023-24 remained unclaimed/unpaid for the reason “ Invalid Bank Identifier-CdtrAgt-151007054-Disabled
And asked with these points
1 Updated Client Master List (CML) Report
2 Cancelled Cheque
3 Copy of PAN card
What is cml?
What does this mean. I checked in cmr document it is up to date, nominee added, kyc updated.
Is it dhan mistake or what?
CML is CMR. Same.
Do this once, hope you have registered with cdsl.
Login to cdsl and select the dhan demat account.
From top menu select miscellaneous then View Demat details.
On that page you will get the bank details updated on your demat account. Match that with cmr and Dhan app.
This above is for future dividends.
For these past ones share the details as requested.
