Previously AMO were place by 9:15:00 - 9:15:30
now i have notice its place by 9:17-9:18
Finally they are place at 9:17 ,
Kindly explain this lag of 2min , i thought everything happens in millisecond in Dhan(read in some post by PJ)

Hi @Satyam : yes, we are optimising the flows to ensure ordering and queuing priorities as we are scaling up. For the time being AMO orders are sent to exchange at 9:17 AM.

Are the FnO AMO orders sent instantly and only the cash segment orders have 2 minute delay ? My FnO orders get executed within 8-10 seconds after market open. Hence the question.

Yes… FnO, Currency and Commodity segment orders are instant, even for AMO, we have not made any changes to that. Infact, expect them to become even more faster as we are deploying additional infrastructure and connectivity. For making some of these changes priority for AMO on Equity has been rescheduled. Regular orders, when markets are opened at 9:15:00 across all segments are instantly sent, including equity.

May I know by when I can expect AMO Equity order to be live at 9:15 instead of 9:17.
I use AMO to place SL and that 2 min window delay can result in unnecessary exceedingly loss if stocks moves fast enough.
Hi @Satyam We are doing some things on our end to ensure we scale up for performance. Few of these changes are going up soon, we will start pushing AMO orders by 9:16 soon, and take it back to making it as market opens.

i bet when your team will move it to 9:15 …

Hi @Satyam Exchanges are operating from DR (Disaster Recovery) site today, and as a precautionary measure the AMO are delayed. There was an issue with Clearing Corporation for Equity segment margin allocation, this was also flashed on the app & web.

What’s the current delay in placing Equity AMO orders? Please clarify.
I had placed an ETF AMO sell order [MOREALTY, limit 105.4] today. I see on the charts that ETF traded above the desired price during first 20 seconds reaching as high as 106.74. However, my order was not even executed partially.
Bumping this to get clarification.
Hi @irrational.mind AMO orders are placed when they are scheduled to be, depending on the choice you made, no delays on same. They are all triggered at the specific time.
