Recently observed that for multiple accounts on Dhan app, after switching to other account it always asks for otp followed by pin even fingerprint is enabled.
Previously it was working smooth. With this critical bug, I dont see any point how and why anyone would manage multiple accounts if otp has to be entered everytime
This is new. I was planning to move a relative’s account to Dhan to experience a smooth switch with just 1 app

I mean, do people really need to be glued to multiple accounts every single day just to open and close positions?
In my immediate family—where I can reasonably manage things with some discretion—I’m the only one who actually has a demat account. I’ve tried convincing a few others to open one, but everyone has a reason. Some are nervous about tax implications because they’re NRIs. Some are fully convinced the markets aren’t the safest place to park their savings. Some people seem to assume that the moment you bring up stocks, you’re eventually going to try selling them an insurance policy or something. Some are so well-off that they don’t even want to have a conversation about their wealth in the first place.
I already manage multiple demat accounts of my own, so to keep things organized I recreate the portfolios on a third-party app and track them from a single place. It gets the job done, but it does make you wonder whether there’s room for simpler, more user-friendly ways to manage and monitor accounts without having to jump through so many hoops.
Well its not about being glued. Its about an option where you can switch to a different account quickly. At the moment in web its fine with different browser profiles. When you are on the move, I just have to use more than 1 mobile to just look at multiple portfolios. Some brokers block cloning so that’s another issue. A better way which I used previously is via apis but now I have to refresh the tokens every day too.
