When can we get add section feature in watchlist in Dhan. Tradingview offers it. It helps organise stocks for day trading. We can separate stocks selected for long and short position.

We had explored that earlier, and skipped the thing as there are issues about data / records how various entities store and manage them; and could result in errors or wrong scrips being added. For a trading platform, these mistakes even if they happen on user’s end via an over-sight could have terrible results.

In addition to this, a very cool feature is in works - which will be even better. We are testing this out, wait for same!

Hi @Roy you asked when we would get this, and you gave a very concrete reason for it: separating the stocks picked for long positions from the ones picked for short.
The answer is now. Sections in Watchlist is live on Dhan Web and TradingView. Named sections inside a single watchlist, drag stocks between them, reorder everything, up to 20 sections per list.
Your use case was one of the clearest arguments for why this mattered.
App, DEXT, ScanX and Options Trader are next.
Are you splitting it long versus short, or finer than that?
