Introducing: 250 Stocks x 20 Watchlists on Dhan

Dear All,

At Dhan, we’re constantly working to make your investing and trading journey simpler yet more powerful. A key part of this journey has always been the Watchlist - the space where you track ideas, monitor opportunities, and stay connected to the markets in real time.

Over the past few months, we’ve continued building this feature with updates like Color Watchlist, Fast Add to Watchlist via Camera and Indices, Invested Watchlists, and enhanced for Options Traders with FnO Stocks that streamline how you track the markets.

Building on that, we’ve now rolled out upgrades inspired by your feedback as always, and designed to bring you more space, more flexibility, and a cleaner experience.

Here’s what’s new:

  • More Watchlists for More Flexibility
You can now create up to 20 Watchlists (up from 10 earlier). This gives you the freedom to organize your trading and investing ideas the way you want - by sectors, strategies, themes, or time horizons.

  • More stocks per Watchlist
Each Watchlist can now hold up to 250 stocks - more than double the earlier limit of 100. Whether you’re an active FnO trader or a long-term investor, this ensures you never run out of space.

  • Total capacity expanded to 5,000 stocks
With 20 Watchlists and 250 stocks in each, you can now track up to 5,000 stocks on Dhan.

These upgrades are live across all our platforms; Dhan, ScanX, Options Trader, and Dhan Charts. No matter where you trade or track, your Watchlists now give you the same powerful and consistent experience.

Please Note: As part of this upgrade, the recently announced Group Watchlist will be removed soon, to simplify the overall Watchlist experience and ensure consistency across all Watchlists. As communicated via email before, only the Watchlists present in your Default Group will be preserved.

We’re excited for you to try this out. And as always, your feedback is what helps us keep improving - so tell us what you think about the new Watchlists, and what you’d like to see next.

Thank you
Soha

Now you have done something good. Thanks for implementing this.
Now you have only thing left is:
In scanX please add section where i can find stocks are nearing all time high or weekly high or 5% off to All time high. You are having this in live section of scanX but not in scanner. You will not have to do much in back end. You already have it in background.

Hi @Achchha_Bachcha, we have noted and shared this with relevant team.

@PravinJ @soha_jagtap firstly i want to congratulate Dhan, you people are doing amazing work, revolutionary in broking firm. keep up the good work.

A suggestion from my side for watchlist.

I have attached 2 snaps here.

  1. why cant Dhan have a watchlist like Fyers (1st snap), where we can track all indices, sectors, commodity and many more regarding watchlist at one place only, just 1 click away. also this list gets updated, whenever stocks getting out from that sectors and getting added in the sectors. this is very easy to track, instead of arranging and adding, removing stocks from a watchlist.
  2. the 2 snap in from dhan’s website where you have provided to check all the stocks listed in NSE, but this is on the different website, we cant do back and forth everytime, even if we do it, because few of the stocks getting added and removed by NSE time to time. so if this will get updated everytime in the watchlist itself as Fyers does it. would be more convenient.
  3. after this you can provide a few custom made watchlist to track according to users own tracking.
  4. i saw few people wanted to have a feature list tradingview to mark colors, which we have on Dhan app and web but not on tv.dhan.co or Dext. having it on tv.dhan and dext will be much useful i feel personally, because majority of the people trade from charts.

Hi @Jaysrt , good to have you back here after a while. We’ve noted your detailed feedback for evaluation.
