Good points, @Pradumya and @nitishbangera . While the backend USD structure and the $10 cap for larger orders above $4000 make economic sense, we need a practical solution for the execution friction caused by currency volatility.
Given the current global scenario where the INR has been highly volatile—swinging from a low of ₹96 down to ₹95 and currently hovering around ₹94—a change of even ₹2 to ₹3 introduces a major shift in the actual brokerage cost for a retail trader.
Instead of permanently cluttering the UI with both currencies or creating intrusive pop-ups that block execution speed, Dhan can implement a non-intrusive Smart Volatility Banner Alert directly inside the order window. This dynamic notification would trigger only during high forex swings, cleanly displaying the live exchange rate and its direct impact on the estimated brokerage without requiring an extra click to dismiss.
This preserves the USD backend logic and the benefits for larger trades, while proactively protecting retail traders from unexpected ledger shocks without introducing any execution delays during global market shifts. Let’s see how the Dhan team evaluates this trade-off and what solution they ultimately bring to the platform.

Just now, I see the US Stocks feature enabled for me after updating the mobile app. Try to update your mobile app, once update is available for you.

For anyone who hasn’t received the US stocks option on Dhan app yet, check playstore for update to version 1.1.3
Most people would have received this update now, Usually I am the last person to receive app updates on Playstore.
Since the last week, I was searching for the banks with lowest charges, IDFC First Bank stood out. All other supported banks have much higher processing fee and forex spread is also above 2%. I am yet to test IDFC in real-world fund transfer on Dhan app.
The onboarding process is less than a minute.
When will I get to see the US stock investments/buy-sell on the Dhan Web? It’s already enabled in the app.

UCITS are something we are actively evaluating and are on our roadmap. We hope to make them available in the future, subject to regulatory and operational considerations.
Regarding the $60,000 threshold, it relates to the US estate tax and not to regular investing, holding, or selling of US Stocks. For specific estate planning or tax advice, we would recommend consulting a qualified tax advisor.

But recently I was studying NSE IX GA platform.
That platform also uses ViewTrade. Can you do a comparison of Dhan US stocks vs NSE IX GA ?
Especially how charges and brokerage differ from that platform?

As of now, the feature is available only on the Dhan App. We will evaluate bringing it to Dhan Web at a later stage.
@MahimaShah You had mentioned in this thread that it would be done last week and now its delayed to end of this week. Are you certain that I will be able to see the feature by 26th June 2026 in the Dhan App?
@nitishbangera I guess the rollout is in phased manner. Check Playstore regularly for app update to 1.1.3 version. I also received this update today only.
