In US stock market, there is post market session that lasts for around 4 hours. Can we trade during that time or not?

@MahimaShah @Dhan I have received the update on Android but no update on IOS, Web or iPad. From what I have seen, the new update has a new UI which looks clean but there are issues
1: $10 cap is not applied. Its still $0.25 without an upper bound.
2: No TV charts from the app. How are we supposed to do technical analysis for US stocks or set alerts on it?

Its still not fully baked and some basic features like chart and alert have been skipped which is not good. Considering this release is only on the Mobile app, the app just works like a Buy and Sell trigger with an expectation users need to go to TradingView for charts.

Verdict: The feature is a good add on but looks like there is a lot of work still pending i.e. Charting, Alerting, Journal, Unified section for Funds in the App, CTA for settings button for US stocks in portfolio and CTA for Park in Liquid ETFs during withdraw.

US dividend taxes are withheld at source as per applicable regulations. To simplify tax filing, we plan to provide relevant reports and statements that can help during ITR filing. We are also evaluating ways to make the overall tax reporting experience more seamless over time.

How do dividends work? Suppose I invested $100 in a share and it declares $1 dividend, will I get $1 equivalent INR in my Dhan linked bank account?

Or $1 in Dhan that I have to withdraw to get INR in my bank account?

Yes I can see that but its not Unified is my point i.e. under “Money“ for the app. One of the biggest disappointments is no Charting or Alerting. Btw, the link of the thread that you shared doesn’t exist now.

I request your team to take the feedback

1. When withdrawing money from the US wallet, the exchange rate should be displayed clearly. GST charges and any other applicable fees should also be visible. The withdrawal screen should be transparent, similar to the deposit screen where all charges are shown clearly.

2. When withdrawing Indian money to a bank account, there is a buffer time during which the withdrawal request can be canceled. Similarly, please provide a buffer time to cancel withdrawal requests for the US wallet as well.
