  1. Global Market, Key Commodity & Currency : Get a quick snapshot of key global market indices like NASDAQ, DOW, GIFT-NIFTY etc, USD-INR levels, and major commodities like Gold & Crude Oil. Stay updated on overnight market cues that could impact your trades today.

Not a good thing. It induces trade directional bias, may lead to FOMO.

Thanks for this, please have a section for high impact news which market is anticipating. For example trump tariff announcements or announcement yet to be done, any sebi announcement pending, or rbi policy due. stuff like this where market is anticipating a major news. Lot of time is lost on twitter for these kind of things, would help me fix my twitter addiction lol

I have some recommendations:-

First add dividend annual report ( all the other platforms have given this feature)

Second add proper layout of chart coz I can’t see the payment date of the dividend…

Third add icons front of the stock …

Alongwith Past Trades data, Dhan is giving in Chart format - Capital Invested vs. Current Value of Invested Capital with Allocation.
I would request Dhan to also add to the same Charts comparison of Investment with Nifty 50, Nifty 500 and Nifty Total Market.
This would give Investors a better understanding of their Investments vis-a-vis other Indices.

Hi @Radhika

Recommendation: Display the Total Market Index performance broken down into four key indices — Nifty 100, Nifty Midcap 150, Nifty Smallcap 250, and Nifty Microcap 250 — for both the past day and the trailing 7 days.

Why? This provides traders with unique insights into which market cap segments are driving the action and where momentum is building.

That’s a broad insight into roughly ~98% of the listed companies by market cap.

For pre-market insights, we show today’s dividend announcements.

If you are referring to the dividend payout report, then we do show yearly dividend payout history with dates, and this can be seen via Dhan journal from Dhan web>profile>journal by Dhan.

I liked this new Pre-Market feature…I was checking it everyday but today morning it didn’t show up in Android App…Checked multiple times today in between 7:00 AM to 8:59 AM…but no luck. Did you remove this feature?

Few suggestions for Pre-Market

  1. List out all the scheduled key events from past couple of days to upcoming couple of days, like Fed Policy Updates, RBI Policy Updates, Inflation data updates, Any expiries, crude inventory updates etc. whichever event is scheduled regular basis. (should be shown separately from any ad-hoc news)
  2. Under News section, sometimes same news or almost same news are showing multiple (2-3) times. I’ve noticed it multiple days but didn’t capture the screenshot. If you’re showing top 5 news then it should be unique 5 news.
  3. In Mobile device, because of transparent background color, any text in red color is very hard to read. please check this issue.
  4. For Market Open Prediction (Positive-Negative-Flat), allow the user to change the selection at least on the same screen before moving to next screen. Sometimes it gets selected by accidental finger touch but after that it is not allowing to change the selection.

Can you please go to ‘Trader’s Control’ and check if ‘Market Insights’ toggle is On or Off, if Off, please toggle it On and check on any trading day in the morning between 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM, you would be able to check the pre-markets insights feature.

Regarding the suggestions, we have noted all of them and are taken into consideration.

I didn’t make any changes in trader’s control ‘Market Insight’ toggle button and it is ON. Somehow Pre-Market didn’t show up on Friday (25-Jul) but it is back in action today morning. So, all good now.

Here is a screenshot from today’s pre-market…some news are very similar and related, could have been merged. Allow more unique news in top 5. I hope you got the point.
