Introducing: Super Orders on Dhan | All-in-One Order from Dhan that serves everyone

What is wrong here ?

Hi @Dhan team, a small feedback on the Super order on web. Currently we cannot edit the limit price from the super order tab, though we can edit the same from ‘Today’ tab and the stop loss, target are editable from super order tab. It would be little helpful, if the limit price also can be edited from the super tab.

Secondly, in the today and positions tab, Avg price column is placed first and LTP after that but in the super order tab they are placed reverse, causing little confusion. It would be easy if you can place all of these in the same way - Avg price , LTP.

can we preset stoploss and target without entering everytime?
like target should be 4 points above market order, sl should be 2 points lower always, inputting everytime is wasting time.

Hi Pravin, any chance that the tradingview.com users of Dhan can ever use SuperOrders?

Its only avilable on Tradingvew.dhan platform and not Tradingview.com

It will be wonderful for direct users of Tradingview like me who connects dhan from Tradingview platform directly.

Finally closed my account with Zerodha and happily back to Dhan!
There’s this one amazing feature on Dhan I’ve always dreamed of — and it’s REAL now! Can’t believe it’s finally happening… THIS was the game-changer I was waiting for.

Goodbye compromises, hello to the future of trading! :rocket:

A very important suggestion,
Give a trigger price for TRAILING SL, so that Trailing SL will trigger after touching a certain level otherwise SL will work if price doesn’t rises SL will work.
It will fully automated the trading.

Hello @Dhan team

Why to add seperate order category as ‘Super order’
As a software engineer I put some efforts to redesigned order placement screen

The UI can be simple as this,
This design provide more practical features like
User can quickly change exchange,
User can either enter share quantity or order value
Removed duplicate options

Hope you will consider to simplify and organise your app UI.

:mag: My Honest Experience with Dhan’s Super Order After Using It for a While

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share my experience after using Dhan’s Super Order feature for some time. At first, I was genuinely excited—I thought it would be a true set-and-forget order: predefined entry, stop loss, and target. But after using it in real trades, I realized it’s not functioning the way I expected.

Here’s what I found:

  1. Order Gets Cancelled If Not Triggered the Same Day
I placed a Super Order for Delivery. Since the price didn’t hit my entry level, the order got cancelled the next day. This means I have to manually re-enter the order every single day. For someone with a full-time job, this is not practical at all. I expected the order to stay live until triggered, but instead, it requires constant monitoring and re-entry. Definitely not “set and forget.”

  1. Only Entry Leg Is Placed in AMO
When I try to place a long or short position directly from the chart—right-clicking and selecting Super Order with a limit entry—it only places the entry leg in the AMO window. SL and target order does not go in AMO. In case you get entry you can then either place SL or Target but not the both that too when you are placing the order manually.
You will be able to place 2nd & 3rd Leg once you take delivery . But in case of Equity short sell, it becomes too much complicated.

  1. Overcomplication and Misleading Expectations
Frankly, Dhan’s marketing around this 3-leg Super Order has been quite misleading. They promote it as a powerful tool for disciplined traders, but in reality, it’s overcomplicated and lacks the basic reliability that swing or part-time traders need. Instead of giving a simple bracket order with fixed entry, SL, and target that stays valid till hit, they’ve created a system that feels patchy and inconsistent. For a feature that’s supposed to make trading easier, it ends up requiring even more manual work and attention.

I hope Dhan takes this feedback seriously. A lot of us want a clean, simple, bracket-style order that actually works in real-world conditions without needing daily maintenance. Until then, this “Super” order feels more like a half-baked feature with a fancy name.

I am sorry for my selection of words, but you will not pay the money I lose because of your shortcomings. Hope the team understands. @Dhan

This was one of the reasons I had long recommended improving the BO with a one-click feature—allowing traders to set predefined entry points, stop-loss, and take-profit targets with just a few simple options, applicable to both delivery and intraday trades. It would have been easy to implement.
