I wanted To Know if trigger price is avaible for super order through api payload structure as i am not able to place trigger order through it, If the function is available can you please provide me the correct Code Snipet, If Not Can you guys please take it a a suggestion and consider adding this feature as it would help us alot

Hi, I have a important suggestion, in the Super Order category, there should be a option of trigger price for the trailing SL, then it will fully automate my orders.
So with this my Trailing SL will be activated after a certain price livel is reached, otherwise normal SL will hit.
Please think about it. It will automatic trading for office goars

Sir super order ka validity 1day se jyada kar do,order same day nahi milne pe next day fir se super order lagana hota hai

Hi @Skyadav , we have noted your suggestion to increase the validity of Super Orders beyond a day. As an alternative, you can place a Forever OCO order once your main buy order is executed. This order remains valid for 365 days, and after it is triggered, you can set your target and stop-loss using a Forever OCO sell order.

Yes lekin GTT order buy hone ke baad stock demat me aayega fir OCO order lagta hai, isse acha GTT order lagate time hi SL aur target ka option dena chahiye jaise upstox me hai

Hey @Abhay_Nain

Super Order Iceberg is not on the roadmap as of now.

We are working on this

Thanks I hope jaldi hi hame ye function milne lage

Hi @Naman , once the trigger price is hit, shouldn’t the order be sent as a limit order(target price). Because once it is placed as market order, we might sell a stock less than target price. Same thing happened for me. Example- I have set target as 36.07 but once the price was triggered it was placed as market order and it got executed at 35.80 which is way less than target price.

So, using super order always have this problem. Not sure if others have faced the same issue.

But it will be really helpful once the price is triggered, it should be placed as limit order and not as market order.

It will create another problem in volatile markets as order will be pending for execution if the gap is small, also you can use limit or trigger limit orders for precise control Market orders can be helpful in case of fast one side movements.

Hi @Goal_Archiver , thanks for the reply.

So, how are we protected in the downside when the market is volatile?

So if we have to sell at the limit price, then only option is after we buy the shares, either use limit order or use forever option? And we can’t use super order.

Hi @Sk_dhan

Welcome to the community.
As @Goal_Archiver said, placing limit order after the trigger has its own disadvantages and most of the users would not like. And trust me, if the super order couldn’t get your target price, then it would have been extremely difficult to manually get that price.

On the flip side, there can be the moments when this works in your favour, once the price is triggered, you might actually end up getting a better price than you expected, when spike continues is in the direction of your trade.

The Super Order feature is missing from the Investing tab on the iOS app.
