We have observed that many traders stay active on the Dhan platform even late at night, analyzing markets and fine-tuning their strategies to prepare for the next trading session. We understand how important post-market analysis is. During market hours, so much happens that it can get overwhelming, especially when you are juggling between tabs to track dozens or even hundreds of instruments at once.

That is where Price Alerts come handy. Traders analyse markets and mark the level where they want to enter or exit. They will be notified as and when the desired price is achieved. The good part, you can apply Alerts on Charts as well on Dhan. But this is just the simple price based alerts. Not always the strategy is defined directly by the price. There are technical indicators or volume which can also be used to refine your entry or exits.

We are taking it a step further.

Introducing : Technical Alerts on Dhan TradingView Charts (tv.dhan.co)

You can now set alerts for technical indicators directly on charts. Whether comparing indicator values to stock prices, or even comparing two indicators, Technical Alerts make your strategies more actionable.

To give you an idea of its capabilities, here are some of the use cases:

  • Indicator vs LTP: Get an alert when the price crosses a technical indicator, like Bollinger Band.
  • Indicator vs Value: Be notified when RSI falls below 70, with the option to set an expiry date for the alert.
  • Indicator vs Indicator: Track crossovers like SMA 50 crossing SMA 200 on daily candles and receive alerts.

You can even add notes to your alerts to remind yourself of the action to take. All alerts are stored on the cloud, so you will be notified wherever you are via push notifications, emails, and in-app alerts.

Currently available for equity stocks with 20+ most popular indicators, we will soon extend this feature to other instruments and add more indicators. As always, your feedback matters to us, so let us know how Technical Alerts fit into your trading journey.

Very good feature, thanks, sadly not useful for me because i trade on indices. When are you planning to bring that feature to indices and derivatives?

Awaiting Index and derivative implementation. :+1:
Pls also add relative comparison also when you add index implementation, it is Important.

Example:

IF
Reliance (Close 0 (SMA 50> SMA 100))
And
Index Nifty (Close 0( SMA 50> SMA 100)

Then Alert.

As stocks has to be seen with its underlaying index movement, this confirm the direction.

In the charts having put Alerts is extremely helpful and I appreciate the efforts of Dhan and Team. However, I find that eventhough I put Notes, the same does not show up when the Alert is triggered. Hope this is receiving your attention and request you to get the Notes section removed if no updation is possible.

As of now, it is only available on tv.dhan.co. Might be in future!

need price crossing up and down also need entering in and out also please include all indicators and drawings like line and keltner channel maybe fib ratios
