Need further help: Shares transfer to Dhan

I have been assisting one client for his Shares transfer to Dhan.
Completed the StepA, and then in Step B of Adding the Beneficiaries I am done till adding the beneficiary.

Now, the client has got the link to Verify the Added Beneficiaries :: Central Depository Services (India) Limited ::

But when I put the PAN as well as Demat ID(16digits), I am getting Error.

I pinged the author of Post who created post for step B, But no reply from his side. So I have to write this post so that someone may help if they have time.

I have 7-10 clients for whom I want to transfer shares from Zerodha/Groww to Dhan, but I am not getting any support from Dhan apart from that Outdated post.

Feedback noted, the process has changed a bit and keeps changing a bit from time to time. You can find the lastest one when you request for same in the App via Tracking Stocks across all platforms.

Once you set up, request for details to transfer shares to Dhan, the instructions come in an attachment which you can share with your friends.

Hi @PravinJ So you are saying that the error that We are seeing in the screenshot will get removed once the client sync his External portfolios? Is it what you are trying to say?

You will recieve updated instructions on how to transfer shares, since you mentioned the original post is different from the steps.

Hi @LovishGupta could you please confirm if the details being added in this step are for the seller’s account or the buyer’s account? If buyer account details (Linked BO Account Details) are being added, please note that at this stage, only the seller’s account details (the account from which shares are being transferred) should be added before clicking ‘Submit.’

Kindly try by validating via Seller account details - if the issue still persists, we can get on a quick G-meet to resolve this.

Hi Ravi, I am putting Seller account details here(Zerodha). I have added the Dhan account details only to add as Beneficiary and nowhere else.

I can share the PAN and Demat account number to you as well over DM. Let me know if you want to try it.

Hi @LovishGupta we urge you to kindly avoid sharing personal details over public forums. I have emailed you personally and we are raising this with CDSL seeking more clarity and possible resolution for this case. Request you to kindly allow us some time and we shall revert back with a resolution.

You need to register for your father’s account on Easiest and then initiate the share transfer. We’ve explained the entire process here.
