@Radhika @Dhan @PravinJ all these updates look good but won’t address the real problem. Currently it requires 24*7 watch on News section. Many times, we requested to bring an alert option for news related to watchlist & portfolio stocks so that we dont need to monitor the News section all the time and it is not being considered at all in every update. This is the true tailored experience if you wish to provide. You can tell that it will disturb users but on the same way it will help us in not missing any imp news. You can provide a setting to turn it off to those who don’t require. It doesn’t look good at all from dhan for ignoring like this. Every trader cant have multi monitor systems to keep different tabs open in each monitor. Hope you understand.

Even then it won’t work sir. It’s not humanly possible to keep track of individual stock news manually. Moreover stock specific news is not an industry first feature as well. Bring something useful please. Ignoring the repeated requests and bringing less useful features raises disliking on the product.

Whether this push notifications or alert option is available on your next updates? If not, such kind of ignorance is really disturbing now.

Hi @sri1647 Appreciate your feedback, but I guess you are looking for service that we won’t be providing or in the timelines that you are asking. We are not a news service, while we try our best to do what we can.

Dhan does many industry first features across trading & investing. In our case for news - this is now powered and built in-house via AI.

Our focus is to build an execution service for trading / investing with an ecosystem that enables our users to do that. We will never be a able to compete with an media service, neither can we guarantee that all news will be provided by us. While our aim is to delight our users, we are not a media house and don’t intend to be known as one.

Indmoney, a stock broker, you must have heard of sir. It is not a news agency. It has push notifications w.r.t the news related to the stocks in watchlist and portfolio. Do you think that it’s possible for traders to keep an eye 24*7 on News section in a trading app? If so there is no need for Twitter and Telegram for traders. Hope you understand the essence of the requirement. It is 100% fact that unless you bring push notifications for the news, atleast for the stocks in the watchlist and portfolio, it is not much useful. We have to depend on third party apps.

In this community post, it is mentioned that this AI powered news is faster. How it reaches fast to clients? This depends on when the client looks the News section. So, it is not faster.

It may look like argument but it is the fact which your team need to know.

If a client is giving a feedback repeatedly and you are bringing other less useful updates on the same area, atleast inform to client that you don’t want to implement that feedback rather than keeping him waiting. It looks some professional.

Moreover, there are many news sources for a trader which causes more noise but there are only few brokers who are trying to simplify things. Since dhan is trying to pool all the resources under one roof, we expect some special experience compared to others.
