The DOM Trading functionality has been completely destroyed with the latest update which i received today on tv.dhan.co, earlier there used to be a lock button which used to center the dom and displayed the best 5 bid ask around the latest ltp, so you can just click on the price of bid or ask and limit order for the same would be executed, now with the latest update this ’ LOCK’ has been replaced with another button which is completely useless neither it centers the dom nor it locks , therefore as of now there is no functionality to quickly place an limit order around the ltp for efficient execution which i extensively used daily to reduce my slippage.
Request you to revert the lock feature in DOM on tv.dhan.co on priority.
This un-necessary change which degrades the functionality is neither required nor appreciated.

IT IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT FEATURE TO EXECUTE LARGE QUANTITY WITH LIMIT ORDER AROUND LTP EFFICIENTLY. JUST BECAUSE TRADING VIEW UPDATED THIS IN THEIR TERMINAL DOESN’T MEAN THAT DHAN SHOULD TOO, ESPECIALLY IF IT DEGRADES THE FUNCTIONALITY.
The tv.dhan.co and trading view terminal are two separate things.
Dhan UI team should have checked if the update had bugs by checking user reactions before implementing it. @thisisbanerjee do you work for Dhan? it seems so.
We have reverted the Library update to the last version due to DOM issues, where in the centre functionality was not working. We are in touch with the TradingView team and this will be fixed and deployed soon.
It has been reverted and is working perfectly now. Please don’t push out update to DOM till these issues are not fixed we are happy with the old dom functionality which actually works.
The lock to keep the DOM centered has again disappeared, that is an essential function to use the dom , it is useless otherwise you need to keep clicking the center toggle again again to center the dom, it was fixed earlier as you said but today the lock has again disappeared
Please fix that DOM issue. Price ladder is useless until issue gets fixed and trading is impossible. Orders are all over the place and you have to keep clicking that crosshair button every second to keep it centered.
@Smart_money, new library version from tradingview don’t support locking of DOM as was the case earlier. So, Dhan team can’t do anything except for raising the feedback with Tradingview and hoping them to take cognisance of it and enable it again. (They might be able to deploy some patch at their end, though.)
In the meantime, what you can do is to disable full depth in the DOM in the settings as shown below:
The ladder functionality of DOM with the ability to enable & disable dynamic mode (in order to center data) is working on other Indian broker terminals who are using TradingView libraries. Kindly restore enable & disable dynamic mode functionality.
Sir you must understand how atrocious this is. The ladder is all over the place. You have to be very very precise when clicking for orders. Its like giving headshot in PUBG or BGMI or something. One mistake and you are done because order will be placed at wrong point. You are known for scalping functionality and with this update that edge is gone.
