Switch Account - Otp issue

I have 2 dhan accounts linked to my app.

First account is primary account and HUF is my secondary account which I access using ‘Switch account’ feature.

Basically, every time I kill the app from RAM, the app will open the primary account by default and when I click on ‘switch account’, my HUF account gets opened.

Until recently, everything was working fine but now whenever I click on switch account, each time I am being asked to enter otp and mpin. Even if i open the app again after 5 mins, it will still ask me both otp and mpin.

Please note : Biometric for Huf Account is already on but the app doesn’t ask for biometric but only otp + mpin

Earlier, I was only asked biometric when I used to switch account. And In case, i switched account after many days then something additional as well.

But now, each time i have to enter otp + mpin.

Can you pls resolve ?

Not sure why it has to be otp+mpin, i think it can be biometric + mpin to maintain 2FA

Hey @krishag, 2FA is mandatory every time you switch to a new account. It includes an OTP sent to your device and your PIN for security, as required by the exchange.
