There is no option to invest in mutual funds for HUF

IDCW schemes not available for investing. As an HUF, I am mostly looking for IDCW MF schemes.
Any plans to activate them ?

Is app not in sync with what has been getting communicated by Product team.

If we cannot use it inspite of communication let’s not publicise it.

For your account as well we have enabled MF HUF account.

For HUF accounts, SOA mode is activated by default.
If you prefer to hold your units in Demat form, you can enable that anytime from your Dhan app:

Mutual Funds → Portfolio → Enable Demat Mutual Funds

Once done, both SOA and Demat options will be available for your HUF investments - giving you full flexibility to choose how you want to manage them.

Tried activating it but not getting the OTP on email. Mobile number is secondary mobile number which is not active. Any solution?

Same issue with me. My secondary no. is not active and no OTP for activating the demat MFs doesn’t come on email.

We’re in the middle of enabling email OTP for HUF activations via email.
Once that’s live, you’ll be able to complete the flow without depending on the secondary mobile number.

Request a bit of time while we get this rolled out.
