I switched to Dhan thinking that it will provide me tradingview premium features but to my disappointment it is not even providing basic tradingview features.
Please work on the below points as soon as possible:
Colour coding in watchlist - In app we can do colour coding but not in the watchlist in Dhan’s tradingview portal.
Sections within a watchlist - This is a very basic feature in tradingview but not in Dhan.
Chart Synchronization - Chart sync feature across multiple layouts is not available. I have to again do the analysis or create drawings if I add a chart present in one layout to another layout.
OI profile - Whenever I have to check the OI profile in a chart a seperate window opens. Why can’t the OI profile be added as an indicator ?
I badly need these features. May not be important for other traders but for me these are very important features. I request to include these features as soon as possible.
Great to know that you started using Dhan Charts. And thank you for writing the areas where you would like us to work on. Before looking into the points you mentioned, just one thing. There are some areas where we do get restricted because of the tradingview library, that we are working on.
Colour coding is not yet allowed on the library itself, this is a long pending request that we are looking into with the tradingview team
This is something which is currently under work, we should have this soon
You should be able to duplicate layout, but yes across multiple layout, drawings cannot be synced.
OI profile on a separate chart was a call that we took, to ensure the core chart performance remains intact. We are working on optimising this experience.
Hi @Vibhor_Agrawal you listed sections within a watchlist as a basic thing that was missing, and you were not wrong.
It is live now. Sections in Watchlist is out on Dhan Web and TradingView. Named sections inside a single watchlist, drag and drop stocks between them, reorder sections and stocks, up to 20 sections in one list.
On the colour coding inside the TradingView portal, that is still constrained by what their library permits, which is why it works in the app but not there. Not a satisfying answer, but an honest one.
You wrote in disappointed, and that is fair feedback to give. This is the part of your list that has moved.
DEXT, App, ScanX and Options Trader are next.
Which of the remaining points on your list matters most to you now?
