As an investor with around 10 years of experience in the Indian and US stock market, I’ve seen how the right tools can make a huge difference in trading and investing. Investing isn’t just a passion for me — it’s a way of life. I love analyzing stocks, making informed decisions, and watching businesses grow over time. Recently, I started using Dhan, and while I appreciate its features, I believe there’s always room for improvement. Here are some key suggestions that could enhance the app and website for an even better trading experience:
Below are few of my Honest Takes:
Total Profit and Loss Display: Can we use the blank space below more effectively on mobile app ? No need to click on the floating button below, this will show the basic info right out of the box.
NSE/BSE Switch NA in Instant Sell Option: We’re unable to see the NSE/BSE switch option with we use Sell option without opening the stock (directly from Sell shortcut) from web and app, the same is available in the Buy option.
Display Trade Value while Selling: Can we display the trade value directly on web as well as on app while selling the stock ? I know its available under Order Estimator, but displaying just the trade value outside makes sense here.
2 Step Hide Button with Password: Can we have a 2 step approach here ? 1st click with hide the Portfolio Value and 2nd will hide the entire portfolio, and it should ask for a pin or fingerprint to unhide on app as well as web.
Change the default BUY-SELL quantity: This can be huge disaster if the default shows the entire stocks in our portfolio, can we change this to 1 (ONE) by default ?
