Need for Watchlist Pro for Dhan (chrome extension)?

Hello Dhan community members,

Almost a year ago, I made a Chrome extension called Watchlist Pro for Zerodha Kite (https://muraliprajapati.github.io/watchlistpro/).

The goal was to add some missing features (i.e. more symbols, keyboard navigation, tags, etc.) and have tradingview-like experience on Kite.

Some users asked me to add support for Dhan but looking at tv.dhan.co, I felt there is no need for this extension on Dhan as it already has integration with tradingview.

But after going through some posts here (Unlimited stock in one watchlist, Add 1000 stocks in my one watch list, Import Watchlists via CSV Directly on Charts (tv.dhan.co)), I feel some of the features might be useful on Dhan too!

So here are a few features that might help Dhan users on tv.dhan.co:

  • Unlimited watchlists
  • Bulk import 1000 stocks
  • Premade watchlists
  • 5 color tags
  • Symbol sorting

The extension has some limitations, too:

  • Only shows EOD prices. No real-time data (because it is not free)
  • No F&O support

The extension does not have access to any of your data on Dhan. It is safe & secure.

If the community members feel the need for “Watchlist Pro for Dhan”, I can spend some time to add support for it.

In Dhan, we can store up to 100 watch lists using groups. What would be the additional benefit of having more than 100 watchlists?

You are right in saying that 100 watchlists are way more than enough however, the major benefit of extension is that it allows 1000 stocks in a single watchlist. Also it provides the ability to have “Flag” watchlists.

Hi @MurliPrajapati, not able to use it on tv.dhan.co. The extension doesn’t activate.
