Hello Traders ![]()
At Dhan, we have always believed that great trading isnât just about what you do when the market moves; itâs about being prepared for when it does. And preparation means having the right alerts in place, so you never miss a level that matters. From launching DEXT T3 in March with a highly customisable terminal trading experience, to introducing features like Position Analyzer, Floating Scalper, and much more.
Every trader or investor tracks the market differently - through technical setups, news events, fundamentals, or momentum. But all of them eventually lead to one thing: a level or worse, you find yourself glued to the screen, staring at a ticker waiting for a number. That is not trading, that is exhausting.
Thatâs why we built 2500+ Market Alerts on Dhan - so you can track important market moves without constantly watching the screen. Because opportunities should reach you when they happen.
Today, we are bringing Conditional Alerts to DEXT T3.
And if you think this is just a ânotify me when price hits Xâ feature, read on. Because we have taken it a lot further than that.
Every trader has a level in mind. An index crossing 22,500. A stock breaking out of a key resistance. An options premium is hitting a price where the risk-reward finally makes sense. You know the level, you have done the analysis, and all you need is for the market to get there.
But markets donât wait. You step away for 15 minutes, you are on a call, you blink, and the level has come and gone. By the time you are back at your terminal, the move is done, the entry is missed, and you are left watching. Conditional Alerts on DEXT T3 are designed to solve both problems. You set your level, walk away, and the terminal watches for you. But we didnât stop at just the notification.
Introducing: Conditional Alerts on DEXT T3
Here is what you can do with Conditional Alerts on DEXT T3:
- Price Alerts: Set an alert on any scrip, including stocks, indices, and F&O instruments. The moment the price crosses your defined level, you get notified instantly.
- Technical Alerts: Your strategy isnât always defined by a single price. Sometimes itâs RSI crossing 70, an SMA crossover, or a Bollinger Band touch. Technical Alerts let you set conditions across 20+ indicators, so the market has to meet your criteria, not just a number.
- Notes on Every Alert: When your alert fires and the order goes through automatically, you want to know exactly why you set it up in the first place. That is what Notes are for. You can attach your trade rationale to every alert, for example, âNifty breaking above key resistance, IV elevated, re-evaluate sizing post executionâ or âMomentum setup on daily chart, order placed as planned, check follow-through.â Your thinking is preserved exactly as it was when the market was calm, so when the dust settles and the order is already in, you are managing the position rather than second-guessing it.
- Webhook Support: For traders who have built their own setups and systems, you can attach a webhook URL to your alert. When the condition triggers, a call goes out to your endpoint, giving you the flexibility to automate, log, and integrate alerts into your own workflow.
We have heard you, loud and clear. The ask has been simple: can the alert not just notify me, but actually place the order?
Yes, it can. Introducing Alert + Order on DEXT T3.
Here is how it works
You set a Price Alert on Index at 22,500. But alongside the alert, you also configure an order to execute the moment that alert fires. So when Index crosses 22,500, you get notified, your pre-configured order is placed automatically, and your position is live, whether you are at the screen or not.
To put it in a real example: If Index crosses 22,500, buy 5 lots of March expiry call option at market. Thatâs it. You set it once, you walk away, and the moment the market hits your level, the order fires and the position is live. You didnât need to be watching, you didnât need to react in time, and you didnât need to be fast enough. Your terminal was.
This is the difference between hoping you catch the move and knowing your order will be there when it happens.
Alerts with auto order execution mean you are no longer chained to the screen to catch every move. You have done the hard work, including the analysis, the level identification, and the trade setup. Now DEXT T3 executes it for you at the exact moment the market gives you the opportunity. That is what a terminal built for traders should do.
DEXT T3 has been built feature by feature over the last several months, each one adding to what an active trader can do without leaving the terminal. If conditional alerts are now part of how you trade, hereâs the rest of the DEXT T3 surface worth knowing about:
- Position Analyzer on DEXT T3 â see the risk and exposure profile of your live DEXT T3 positions in one consolidated view. Useful when you have multiple open positions and want to read total exposure rather than juggle them one by one.
- Floating Scalper on DEXT T3 â a lightweight pop-up that floats over your workspace, drag-and-drop wherever you need it. Stays open until you close it, so fast trades donât require giving up screen real estate.
- Power Scalper on DEXT T3 â a dedicated scalping terminal with the underlying, CE and PE charts, option chain, market depth, and position management all in one view. Built for traders who need every signal in front of them simultaneously.
- Order Flow Coming in DEXT T3 â the sneak preview of order flow and footprint charts arriving on DEXT T3. Worth knowing about if you read the inside of the candle as part of how you trade.
