Now Live: New Trend Signal Indicators on Dhan Charts

Hello Traders,

Charts are at the centre of how many of you analyse markets, identify opportunities, plan entries, manage exits and build your trading setups. And at Dhan, we have always believed that your charting experience should not just be powerful, but also flexible enough to match the way you trade.

Over time, we have added hundreds of indicators on Dhan Charts, along with many custom-built indicators that came directly from your requests and feedback. From popular indicators used by traders every day to India-specific charting tools, our goal has always been simple: give traders more ways to analyse markets, without making the experience complicated.

We are now taking this forward by adding a new set of indicators on Dhan Charts.

To begin with, we are introducing indicators that focus on trend signals - helping traders identify market direction, spot possible trend changes, and build stronger confirmation layers on charts.

Introducing new Trend Signal Indicators on Dhan Charts:

With this update, we are adding:

Hull Suite

A smooth and responsive moving average-based indicator that helps you identify trend direction with reduced lag. It is useful for traders who want a cleaner view of whether the market is trending up, trending down, or changing direction.

UT Bot

A widely used trend-following signal indicator built around ATR-based trailing logic. It helps traders identify possible buy and sell signals and is often used as a confirmation layer with other trend indicators.

Dhan AlphaTrend

A multi-dimensional trend indicator that combines momentum, volatility, trend and volume logic to help traders reduce noise in sideways markets and identify stronger trend conditions.

Dhan HalfTrend

A simple visual trend-following indicator that plots trend lines and arrows on the chart, helping traders spot possible trend changes and use the trend line as dynamic support or resistance.

These indicators are especially helpful for intraday traders, scalpers and swing traders who use charts to validate market direction before taking a trade. Whether you use one indicator as your primary trend filter or combine multiple indicators to build your own setup, this update gives you more flexibility directly on Dhan Charts.

And this is just the first set of new indicators we are bringing to Dhan Charts.

Over the coming days, we will continue adding more indicators across breakout setups, intraday trading, risk and trade management, moving averages, oscillators and more. As always, many of these additions come from what you have asked us to build.

To try these indicators, open Dhan Charts, go to Indicators and search for Hull Suite, UT Bot, Dhan AlphaTrend or Dhan HalfTrend.

Charts and indicators on Dhan keep getting better. A few related launches below that you might want to explore:

We keep building Dhan Charts with your feedback, and we would love to know which indicators you want us to bring next.

Happy Trading!

A quick note for the traders who shaped this launch.

These four indicators didnโ€™t appear from nowhere. Every one of them has been asked for on MadeForTrade, some for years, and we wanted to make that visible.

The clearest credit goes to @stalin2012. On 10 October 2023, in Cycle 1 of Build with Dhan, he posted a single six-line comment listing the indicators he wanted on Dhan: โ€œhull suite by insilico, Halftrend, Alpha trend, utbot alerts, SSL channel, CPR with pivot levels.โ€ Four of those six are in todayโ€™s launch. Two more are already live. One six-line post, six indicators built. Hereโ€™s the original: Build with Dhan: Request Indicators you want us to add on TradingView (tv.dhan.co) - #16 by stalin2012

On HalfTrend specifically, the earliest asks predate Cycle 1 by over a year. @jaytav001 opened a dedicated thread on 7 July 2022 (New Indicator : KAMA or Half trend) asking for KAMA or HalfTrend. @Jai29B came in four days later with a one-line follow-up in his own thread. @Tinku asked again in October 2023 and once more in November 2023. The indicator going live today is closing a loop that has been open for nearly four years.

UT Bot brought five different members into Cycle 1 alone โ€” @Mangesh_1993, @Manojkumar, @himannetwork, @Subhajitpanja, and @poushali โ€” all asking for some version of it (often by the specific TradingView source). It was one of the most-requested indicators on the cycle thread.

And a special mention for @Itradetriangles, who posted just last week asking for UT Bot and HalfTrend specifically inside Power Scalper. The timing is sharper than any of us planned for. Both are now live on Dhan Charts as of today, and weโ€™ll get them into Power Scalper as well.

This launch is one piece of a much larger thread that weโ€™ll be publishing soon โ€” every custom indicator on Dhan Charts traced back to the original community member who asked for it. There are more receipts coming.

Thanks for you constant contribution to the community, your insights truly shape our product development efforts!

@Hardik The buy and sell signal markers (arrows/dots) shown on the chart for both Half Trend and Alpha Trend are extremely small. Even on a full screen chart the signals are barely visible and easy to miss during live trading. Refer attached images.

Please increase the default size of the buy/sell signal markers for HalfTrend and Alpha Trend to a normal, clearly visible size
